We're down to the quarter finals at the the CIB PSA World Championships in Cairo with the top half of both the men's and women's draws battling it out to claim a spot in the semi-finals.
In the men's draw, World No.1 Paul Coll will face former World Champion Tarek Momen in what will be their 14th meeting on the PSA World Tour, with Coll winning the previous five encounters.
The other men's match will be an all-Egyptian encounter between 2017 World Champion Mohamed ElShorbagy and Fares Dessouky. ElShorbagy takes part in his sixth consecutive World Championship quarter final, whilst Dessouky makes his third appearance in the last eight.
Opening the night's play in the women's draw will be another al-Egyptian clash between World No.1 Nouran Gohar and No.8 seed Rowan Elaraby. The younger Egyptian received a bye in the last 16 as India's Joshna Chinappa was forced to withdraw due to illness. Gohar however beat Wales' Tesni Evans to progress.
The winner of that match will set up a semi-final match with either No.4 seed Amanda Sobhy or surprise quarter finalist Nada Abbas, who beat World No.5 Joelle King to reach the last eight.
