Tarek Momen & Paul Coll

El Gouna International 2022: Preview & How to Watch Live

We’re down to the quarter finals at the El Gouna International 2022 as eight players look to progress through to the semi-finals in Egypt.

Play starts at 18:45 (GMT+2) as World No.1 Nouran Gohar takes on England No.1 Sarah-Jane Perry. Gohar has won the previous seven encounters between the two, Perry’s two wins came back in 2014 at the Windy City Open and CIMB Malaysian Open.

The Men’s World No.1, Paul Coll, is next onto court as he faces ‘The Viper’ Tarek Momen for a place in the final four. The two recently played out an epic 122 minute battle at the CIB PSA World Championships Cairo 2022 just last week. Can Momen get his revenge on the British Open Champion in El Gouna?

Belgium’s Tinne Gilis took out No.4 seed Amanda Sobhy in round two and now faces former World No.3 Nour El Tayeb for a place in her first Platinum event semi-final. Closing out the day’s play will be an all-Egyptian battle between World Championship runner-up Mohamed ElShorbagy and Fares Dessouky.
