CIB PSA World Tour Finals: Preview & How To Watch Live

The final event of the 2021/2022 campaign gets underway on Tuesday, June 21, with the CIB PSA World Tour Finals 2021/2022 taking place over six days at the Mall of Arabia in Cairo. All of the action from the tournament will be shown live on SQUASHTV.

As always, the season’s top eight men and women have all qualified for the tournament, and have then been split into two groups ahead of the tournament.

CIB PSA World Tour Finals 2021/2022: Men’s Group Draw

World No.1 Ali Farag will head up Group A in the men’s draw, and he will be joined by Peru’s Diego Elias, new British Nationals champion Mohamed ElShorbagy and compatriot Mazen Hesham, who will make his first appearance at the season-ending event.

Group B will feature defending champion Mostafa Asal, who beat ElShorbagy in the final in 2021. New Zealand’s World No.2 Paul Coll will be the top seed in the group, with Egypt’s Tarek Momen and Welshman Joel Makin making up the rest of the contenders.

CIB PSA World Tour Finals 2021/2022: Women’s Group Draw

World No.1 Nouran Gohar went perfect through the group stages last year, and she will aim to do the same this time round. She will take on US No.1 Amanda Sobhy, New Zealand’s World No.5 Joelle King and debutant Georgina Kennedy, who will be one of two Englishwomen in action.

Group B will feature the other defending champion, in Egypt’s Hania El Hammamy, along with six-time World Champion Nour El Sherbini. England’s Sarah-Jane Perry and Egypt’s Rowan Elaraby, who will make her debut at the tournament, will make up the rest of Group B.

The opening day of competition will see Gohar and Farag watch the rest of their competitors, with Nour El Sherbini opening the day’s action against Sarah-Jane Perry, before Mohamed ElShorbagy takes on Mazen Hesham. Paul Coll and Tarek Momen will meet once again, with defending champs Hania El Hammamy and Mostafa Asal both getting their campaigns underway as well.
