The Professional Squash Association (PSA) is thrilled to announce that its ReBound initiative has been backed by the College Squash Association (CSA) which will see the organisation hold collections for donated squash gear at next year’s championship weekends which take place in February and March 2016.
The inaugural ReBound collection drive took place at the Delaware Investments US Open two months ago and was a huge success after over 150 items of used squash equipment was collected in Philadelphia.
Through the ReBound Initiative, the PSA, CSA and NUSEA have joined efforts to enable children from under-served communities to combine the sport of squash with their academic studies. Usable squash gear will also be channeled to remote areas like Zimbabwe, South Africa, India and Colombia.
“With the collaboration of the CSA, alumni, former players, coaches and the collegiate squash community, we can collect a large amount of gear that will have a great impact enriching the life of children who dream of playing squash,” said PSA CSR and Welfare Development Officer Adriana Oyala.
