Egyptian maverick Ramy Ashour is one of the most enigmatic players on the PSA World Tour and has earned the nickname ‘The Artist’ in homage to his unparalleled skill and finesse on court.
While injury has limited his appearances in recent years, the three-time World Champion is still one of the most recognisable names in the sport.
Hamstring problems have ruled him out of next month’s J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions but he spoke to the Tournament Promoter, John Nimick of Squash Engine, in a candid interview.
Filmed in the summer, Ashour opens up about his relationship with the court, his feelings during tournaments, his opinions on fellow PSA World Tour players and much, much more.

The upcoming J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions takes place between Thursday January 7 – Thursday January 14 in Grand Central Terminal in New York, United States and tickets are available on the event website or by calling (718) 569-0594.
