England’s Daryl Selby is one of the most recognisable figures on the PSA World Tour and has gone on to forge an impressive career since making his debut back in 2004, notching up 11 PSA World Tour titles in addition to claiming a bronze medal at last year’s Commonwealth Games in the Doubles event.
Harlow-born Selby, who is currently ranked at World No.14, also contributed to his country’s success at the 2013 World Team Squash Championships where England beat Egypt to win the prestigious event.
We sat down with the 33-year-old who explained how he got in to squash, his love for the game and why he chose the sport over football.
