Amanda Sobhy on court in last week's Tournament of Champions

Squash on Social: Inside the PSA World Tour

Last week saw the prestigious J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions get 2016 off to a stunning start with Egyptian duo Mohamed Elshorbagy and Nour El Sherbini taking the spoils underneath the chandeliers of the Vanderbilt Hall inside the iconic Grand Central Terminal in New York.

As the players get set for upcoming events such as the Swedish Open and the Windy City Open presented by Guggenheim Partners and EquiTrust Life Insurance Company, we thought that we would have a look on what they have been up to social media over the past seven days.

United States No.1 Amanda Sobhy made headlines in New York as she reached her first ever PSA World Series final. Here she gives us an insight into what she may be listening to during her training sessions.

Egypt’s Fares Dessouki is juggling life as a player on the tour with his university degree – we hope the exams went well Fares!

Can anyone help England’s George Parker get organised? Perhaps a belated New Year’s resolution, George?

United State’s players Christopher Gordon and Chris Hanson travelled to the Motor City Open in style. Drive safely guys!

‘The Hammer of Thor’ Omar Mosaad and Karim Abdel Gawad enjoyed the popcorn Toronto has to offer.

Scotland’s Alan Clyne refutes the recommended serving size of this particular pasta. Did it fill you up Alan?

And finally, Elshorbagy and El Sherbini show their apprecation to Head Egyptian National Team coach Amr Shabana after their victories in New York – and kiss the famous beard that has inspired both a Facebook and a Twitter page.
