Number three seed Addeen Idrakie led a trio of Malaysians into the last four of the Malaysian Squash Tour II, PSA M5 tournament after securing a straight games victory over Spain’s Bernat Jaume in the quarter-final.
Idrakie narrowly edged a hard-fought opening game before continuing his strong performance into the second to open up a 2-0 lead.
The 22-year-old dominated proceedings in the third for the loss of just three points, wrapping up an 11-9, 11-8, 11-3 win to reach the semi-final of a PSA World Tour event for the first time in 2016.

Elsewhere, Elvinn Keo came through a brutal five-game battle with Mohd Syafiq Kamal to reach the semi-final, where he will line up against Jordan’s Ahmad Al-Saraj who prevented it from being an all-Malaysian semi-final line up after dispatching second seed Sanjay Singh Chal in four.
