Courtesy of the folks over at Dunlop we've recently received a copy of the new Dunlop Precision Ultimate squash racket.
We'll be doing an in-depth review ahead of the next issue of SquashXtra, due out September, but here's our first look at one of Dunlop's latest offerings.
Dunlop Precision Ultimate
RRP Price £149.99
Listed Weight 132g
Head Size 500cm2
Listed Balance Head Light
Stringing Pattern 16×19
Target Play Style Control
The successor to the Dunlop Ultimate GTS, the Precision Ultimate has a new look neon-styled paint job, which looks great and gives the racket a bit of immediate wow factor.
It's got a 16×19 stringing pattern, so it's a racket aimed at the player who prefers high control over raw power.
Like the prevision incarnation the Precision Ultimate carries a large 500cm2 head, which should allow for a little extra lee-way when striking, and looks to have had a little weight shaved from the throat area.
The supplied grip is incredibly tacky and looks to be a step up from the previous factory grips provided on Dunlop rackets while the technology in the frame – including fancy sounding elements like Aeroskin CX and Biofibre – are designed to give a smoother through-the-air swing and greater responsiveness during play.
Look out for a more in-depth review at a later date.
