The draw for the 2016 Men’s Open International de Squash de Nantes, PSA M25 tournament has been announced and sees World No.20 Daryl Selby top a highly competitive field that will battle it out for honours at the Cité Internationale des Congrès between Wednesday September 7 – Sunday September 11.
England’s Selby is on the hunt for a first PSA World Tour title since 2012, but faces stiff competition from the likes of compatriot Chris Simpson, who he is seeded to meet in the final.
Selby gets his tournament underway against a qualifier and is seeded to face defending champion Gregoire Marche in the last four, with Marche being the highest ranked Frenchman in the draw at World No.29.
World No.23 Simpson, meanwhile, opens up against French wildcard Geoffrey Demont and could come face to face with World No.26 Tom Richards in an all-English semi-final.
The tournament will be broadcast live on SQUASHTV and Eurosport Player for the first time in its history and features a prize purse of $25,000 which is more than double the $10,000 on offer last year.
