Part of Salming’s Aero Vectran series – alongside the eye-catching Fusione – the Cannone Pro is one of the latest rackets to come from the Swedish manufacturer who continue to expand their squash specific range.
With a significantly more subdued cosmetic compared to the fluorescent orange Fusione, the Cannone Pro is Salming’s top range open throat model, offering 37cm long mains strings which should result in a racket with lots of organic power.
It’s marginally head-light, which should help with manoeuvrability on court and suit aggressively styled players, while it is 6 grams lighter than it’s baby-brother namesake – the Cannone
Salming claim that their frame construction, combining carbon with the futuristic star-trek sounding ‘vectran’, results in beam that reduces vibration, increases the size of the sweet spot and aids the natural swing arc.
