Watch Live Action from the U.S. Open

The second stage on the PSA Road to Dubai Standings will be shown live around the world as the world’s leading players head to Philadelphia for the 2016 Delaware Investments U.S. Open.

Defending champions Gregory Gaultier and Laura Massaro return to defend their crowns and both players are in red hot form after they triumphed in the NetSuite Open just last week in San Francisco.

Gaultier, the current World Champion, will take on Daryl Selby in round one and will have big name players such as Australian No.1 Ryan Cuskelly, World No.4 Karim Abdel Gawad and three-time World Champion Nick Matthew standing between him and a final berth – where he could come up against World No.1 Mohamed ElShorbagy.

Massaro, meanwhile, is eyeing up her third U.S. Open crown, while United States No.1 Amanda Sobhy, Hong Kong Open winner Nouran Gohar, World No.1 Nour El Sherbini and eight-time World Champion Nicol David will all aim to prevent the Englishwoman from taking a third PSA World Tour title on the bounce.

Egyptian maverick Ramy Ashour – who missed out due to injury – and Gohar currently lead the PSA Road to Dubai Standings, where only the top eight player will qualify for a coveted berth at the lucrative season-ending Dubai PSA World Series Finals, but the U.S. Open represents another chance for players to make up ground on the Egyptian duo.
