The 2016 edition of the PSA Men’s World Championship sees the sport’s most illustrious tournament take place between Thursday October 27 -  Friday November 4 as the Wadi Degla Club in Cairo hosts the greatest players in the world.

In a repeat of 2012’s final, Egyptian duo ElShorbagy and Ramy Ashour demonstrated an outstanding standard of squash throughout an epic five-game encounter that has gone down in the annals of squash history.

2012 World Championship Semi-Final: James Willstrop v Mohamed ElShorbagy

Four years ago, ElShorbagy was Egypt’s rising star and faced then World No.1 Willstrop in an epic semi-final in Qatar as he aimed to make it through to his first World Championship final.

2013 World Championship Final : Nick Matthew v Gregory Gaultier

2013 saw England’s Nick Matthew and Frenchman Gregory Gaultier duel in a repeat of the 2011 World Championship final in front of a packed crowd at the National Squash Centre in Manchester.

With twists and turns throughout, this gruelling final was a superb spectacle and went all the way to five games.

2009 Men’s World Championship Final : Amr Shabana v Ramy Ashour

Egyptian legend Amr Shabana took on defending champion Ashour in this exciting World Championship final fixture.
