The 2016 Channel VAS Championship at St George’s Hill will be the final PSA World Tour event of the year to be broadcast live on SQUASHTV and Eurosport Player – and you can watch all the action unfold between December 8-12.

World No.1 Mohamed ElShorbagy is aiming to bring a stunning year – in which he has won seven PSA World Tour titles – to a triumphant close.

The hard-hitting 25-year-old has been the man to beat for much of 2016 and recently celebrated a full calendar year at the summit of the World Rankings – becoming only the third Egyptian of all time to achieve the feat after the legendary Amr Shabana and three-time World Champion Ramy Ashour.

Bristol-based ElShorbagy will need to be at his best though to see off the threat of his younger brother, Marwan, who he could meet in the final, with the younger ElShorbagy brother seeded on the bottom half of the draw, which also contains the likes of 2015 World Championship runner-up Omar Mosaad and former World No.1 James Willstrop.

Defending champion Chris Simpson returns to defend the title he won last October, while the man he beat in the final, World No.16 Daryl Selby, is also in action – and he will face Mohamed ElShorbagy in round one.

European-based subscribers can tune into Eurosport Player to watch the action unfold, while viewers in the rest of the world can log into SQUASHTV.
