The prestigious J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions will be the first tournament of 2017 to be broadcast LIVE around the world when the world’s greatest players descend on New York’s iconic Grand Central Terminal for the 20th time between January 12-19.

Held under the chandeliers in the stunning Vanderbilt Hall, the Tournament of Champions acts as the fourth stage on the PSA Road to Dubai and will see players battle it out for crucial points on the PSA Road to Dubai Standings – where only the top eight players will achieve qualification for the season-ending PSA Dubai World Series Finals.

United States No.1 Amanda Sobhy, who currently sits joint third on the PSA Women’s Road to Dubai Standings, will look to go one better than last year’s tournament where she became the first American-born woman to reach the final.

The New York-born Harvard graduate is a real crowd favourite and was only denied a maiden World Series title last January by Egypt’s Nour El Sherbini as she displayed the kind of form that would eventually see her become World Champion and claim the World No.1 spot.

In the Men’s draw, World Champion Karim Abdel Gawad and defending champion Mohamed ElShorbagy are seeded to meet in what would be an electric final encounter, while stalwarts Nick Matthew, Gregory Gaultier and the enigmatic Ramy Ashour are also set to light up the tournament.
