Live action on the PSA World Tour continues next week as the 2017 Windy City Open presented by Guggenheim Partners & EquiTrust Life Insurance Company gets under way in Chicago.
The tournament – which is staged in the University Club of Chicago between February 23 – March 1 – will once again see the world’s top players battle it out for vital points on the PSA Road to Dubai Standings. where only the top eight players will claim a place in June’s lucrative PSA Dubai World Series Finals.

Find out moreWorld Champion Karim Abdel Gawad has been the dominant force on the Men’s Tour this season, and the 25-year-old from Giza is targeting a third successive World Series crown after triumphing at the U.S. Open and Tournament of Champions.
The World No.2 is also on the hunt for the World No.1 berth – which currently belongs to 2016 champion Mohamed ElShorbagy – and, with the two seeded to meet in the final, a victory for Gawad could see him claim a coveted place atop the World Rankings.
French World No.2 Camille Serme heads up the Women’s Road to Dubai Standings and is in red hot form after taking both the U.S. Open and Tournament of Champions crowns in recent months.
Defending champion Raneem El Welily will look to recapture the form that saw her return to the world’s top three at the end of last year, while World No.1 Nour El Sherbini, World No.4 Nouran Gohar and World No.5 Laura Massaro are also in the hunt for honours.
