PSA Stars Attend Post-Squash Career Day

PSA World Tour players had the opportunity to put their questions to a selection of thought leaders during the PSA Foundation’s inaugural Post-Squash Career Day, staged at Canary Wharf, London.

Speakers from across business, including ex World No.2 and successful management consultant Peter Marshall, Kelly Williams of Sports Revolution, Steve White-Copper founder of add-victor, commercial media lawyer Simon Goldberg and hedge-fund manager Steve Richardson were on hand to offer their advice and tips to players on how to successful transition from the professional circuit to a more traditional career path once their playing days are over.

The speakers discussed the challenges facing sportspeople as they transition from professional athlete to the daily working world, emphasised the unique traits and attributes they can bring to the working world and how to deal with confusions of self worth and the difficulty faced in the early stages post squash career, along with tips and advice to help best prepare for interviews and networking opportunities.
