England’s Ben Coleman and Hong Kong’s Max Lee will battle it out for the Three Rivers Captial Pittsburgh Open title after both made it through their tough semi-final matches.
Coleman continued to impress in the tournament as he faced Welsh World No.41 Joel Makin in a gruelling 87-minute encounter.
The two had faced each other three times previously on the PSA World Tour with Makin claiming all of those victories, however, the tables were soon turned as the Welshman was forced to retire in the fourth game to hand a 14-12, 7-11, 13-11, 6-5 victory to Coleman.
In the other semi-final, second seed Max Lee faced compatriot and third seed Tsz Fung Yip in an all-Hong Kong battle. Fung Yip took the first game on a tie-break by an 13-15 margin before Lee battled back to take the next three games and secure a final berth in 51-minutes.
This will be the first time that World No.51 Coleman and World No.30 Lee have met on the PSA World Tour as they prepare to battle it out for the PSA M25 title.
