Women's Squash Week Proves to be Global Success

Last week was Women's Squash Week and saw clubs and squash fans alike from all over the world engaging with the initiative.

Clubs hosted introductory sessions for new women and girls to get hooked on squash and activities to celebrate the unity and togetherness of the wider squash community.

Squash is an fun, social and healthy activity that brings people together, and while female participation levels are much lower than the male average, initiatives like Women's Squash Week aim to encourage more women to take part and thrive from the benefits of the sport.

With equality being one of the core objectives of the PSA Foundation, events like this hope to inspire more clubs, coaches and people to host more clinics and advocacy events on the PSA World Tour, and support programmes looking to increase participation amongst women and girls.

Throughout the week there were countless posts on social media celebrating the occasion and showing all the activities that took place all over the world. See just some of our favourites below from every corner of the globe.
