Pittsburgh Open: Tournament Preview

The Pittsburgh Open takes place this week, with three previous champions looking to take home a second title for the PSA World Tour Bronze event.

Gregoire Marche comes into the tournament as the defending champion, having beaten Zahed Salem in the final. The Egyptian won the 2017 edition of the tournament, with Max Lee having won in Pittsburgh two years ago, and all three feature this week.

Meanwhile, World No.11 Fares Dessouky returns to action in Pittsburgh, having not featured at the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions, and the Egyptian will be the top seed for the event.

The likes of Saurav Ghosal, Omar Mosaad, Cesar Salazar, Campbell Grayson and Raphael Kandra will also be among the seeds for the event, the first men’s Bronze tournament of the new decade.

Play begins on Wednesday, January 22 at 17:00 (GMT-5), with action then taking place across the next five days through to the final on Sunday, January 26.
