The Carol Weymuller Open takes place this week in Brooklyn, New York, with Nour El Tayeb back to defend the title she won in October 2018 at The Heights Casino.
The Egyptian World No.4 will return to Brooklyn this week, in the hope of holding onto the title, but she will face stiff competition from compatriot, and World No.3, Nouran Gohar.
Camille Serme, the Frenchwoman who just tasted success at the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions will also feature, with Joelle King, a semi-finalist in New York City last week, the No.4 seed.
Hope homes come from Amanda Sobhy, the World No.7, who will be the fifth seed for the tournament, with Joshna Chinappa, Salma Hany and Alison Waters the other members of the top eight seeds.
Play begins on Wednesday, January 22 at 17:30 (GMT-5), with action then taking place across the next six days. There is a prize pot of $51,250 on offer for the PSA World Tour Bronze event, with the winner being crowned on Monday, January 27.
