Hesham Pulls Out of Windy City Open Third Round Due to Injury

Egypt's Mazen Hesham has pulled out of tonight's Windy City Open presented by the Walter Family third round fixture against World No.1 Mohamed ElShorbagy due to a hip flexor injury.

Hesham, the World No.14, sustained the injury during his first round fixture against compatriot Mohamed ElSherbini and fought through the pain barrier against Mexico's Cesar Salazar to reach the last 16 of the PSA Platinum event.

A walkover will be awarded to ElShorbagy, who now advances to the quarter-finals where he will play either World No.5 Paul Coll or England's Declan James.

Today's third round action commences at 12:00 (GMT-6) and coverage will be broadcast on SQUASHTV (rest of world), Eurosport Player (Europe only) and the official Facebook page of the PSA World Tour (excluding Europe & Japan).
