PSA Chief Executive Alex Gough and Women's President Sarah-Jane Perry will be the Keynote Speaker at the upcoming Sportageous Summit between March 5-6, 2021.
The Sportageous Summit features influential executives from across the world of squash to discuss the sport's future, and Alex and Sarah-Jane will appear alongside World Squash Federation (WSF) President Zena Wooldridge and others.
Alex’s keynote speech will be at 09:05 (GMT) on Friday March 5 when he discusses the work going on behind the scenes at the PSA during one of the most turbulent years that professional sport has ever faced.
Alex will look back at the past 12 months and the plans put in place to restart professional squash in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, and also looks ahead to a bright future for the sport.
Meanwhile, Sarah-Jane will also speak on March 5 at 09:50 (GMT). SJ will talk about the growth of women’s squash over the past six years since the unprecedented merger between the Professional Squash Association and Women’s Squash Association in 2015.
She will also discuss what is being done to increase playing opportunities and prize money for women and reviews the strength and depth across the women’s tour.
The first session on March 5 will be held between 09:00-12:00, while the second session will take place on Saturday March 6 at 09:00-12:30.
The PSA Foundation have been named as the summit's charitable partners. Funds will be raised for the Foundation's 'We Are One' fund which raises and distributes money to professional squash players who have lost their earnings due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
