Squash NT Open: Lim Takes Second Title In Three Weeks

Following his success at the North Coast Open earlier this month, Malaysia’s Bryan Lim Tze Kang has taken the spoils at the Squash NT Open to finish the month of May.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there were entry restrictions for the Challenger 3 level tournament, with only those currently residing in Australia or New Zealand being allowed to enter.

The Malaysian was the only foreign player in the draw and he showed his class throughout the event, dropping just a single game en route to the title. He received a bye through the opening round, before getting the better of No.8 seed William Curtis in the last eight.

Lim then knocked out No.6 seed James Lloyd in straight games, before defeating No.5 seed Lachlan Coxsedge in just 29 minutes in the final. The Malaysian now has two victories to his name, following his win at the North Coast Open earlier this month.
