The glass court set in front of the Pyramids of Giza

CIB Egyptian Open: How to Watch Live

World class squash descends on the Pyramids in Egypt this week when the CIB Egyptian Open takes place from September 10-17 with action LIVE on SquashTV and broadcasters around the world.

Side courts will be available to watch via Facebook and YouTube but the only place to watch glass court action is via SquashTV. You can get 15 months for the price of 12 with the code SEASONIG15.

The first Platinum event of the season will see the PSA World Tour travel to the Pyramids once again, with Ali Farag and Nour El Sherbini aiming to defend both their titles, and their World No.1 positions.

The pair will be the favourites for the trophies come the end of eight days of action. World No.2 Mohamed ElShorbagy and the sport’s newest major champion, New Zealand’s Paul Coll, will be amongst the other contenders for the men’s crown.

Former World Champion Tarek Momen will be another of the Egyptian stronghold in the draw, along with Marwan ElShorbagy, Karim Abdel Gawad, Mostafa Asal and Mohamed Abouelghar. Colombia’s Miguel Rodriguez and France’s Gregoire Marche will be the other non-Egyptians aiming for glory.

Nouran Gohar will be the nearest contender for El Sherbini’s crown in the women’s draw with fellow Egyptians Hania El Hammamy, Salma Hany and Rowan Elaraby also in the top eight seeds. Frenchwoman Camille Serme, USA’s Amanda Sobhy, and New Zealand’s Joelle King will be the non-Egyptian contingent in action and aiming for success.

Coverage from the CIB Egyptian Open begins at 12:00 (GMT+2) on Friday, September 10 when first round action begins.
