Elias Withdraws From Oracle Netsuite Open

Peru’s Diego Elias has withdrawn from the upcoming Oracle Netsuite Open, which will be held at Embarcadero Plaza in San Francisco, due to an ongoing back injury.

The ‘Peruvian Puma’, who is currently the World No.8, is not featuring in the ongoing CIB Egyptian Open due to the same issue, and will continue to rehabilitate to get himself back to full fitness.

Due to Elias’ withdrawal from the PSA World Tour Gold tournament sees Mostafa Asal move into the No.8 seed, and he will now face compatriot Mazen Hesham in the first round.

Another Egyptian, in Omar Mosaad, comes into the draw, and he will face world No.1 Ali Farag on the opening day in San Francisco.
