Odense Open: How To Watch Day Two Live

The second day of the Odense Open takes place on Wednesday, with the seeded players coming into the draw for the Challenger 10 level tournament, with that elusive World Championships spot on the line come the end of the week!

Play will begin from 14:00 (GMT+1) live from Odense with both courts available to watch live. Action from the glass court will be shown live on SQUASHTV, brought to you by the new Squash TV Lite kit, while Court 5 will be shown live on the Odense Squash Club’s YouTube channel.

There is a great mix of nationalities represented on the glass court on day two, with the 16 players involved hailing from 12 different countries. Germany’s Saskia Beinhard and England’s Julianne Courtice, the No.2 seed, will get the action underway.

They will be followed by the men’s No.2 seed, USA’s Faraz Khan, as he takes on Italian No.1 Yuri Farneti. Portugals’s Rui Soares, Switzerland’s Nadia Pfister and the Egyptian pairing of Menna Hamed and Yahya Elnawasany also make their bows on the glass court on the second day’s play.

The tournament’s top seeds, in South African No.1 Alexandra Fuller and India’s Mahesh Mangaonkar, both start their Odense campaigns on day two as well, in the last two matches of the evening’s play. Fuller will face English junior Saran Nghiem, while New Zealand’s Temwa Chileshe will do battle with Mangaonkar in the final match of the day’s play.

Along with the glass court action, there will also be a full slate of eight matches on Court 5, with Danish wildcard Klara Møller being the star attraction, after her victory on the opening day. She will take on No.5 seed Nour Aboulmakarim for a place in the last eight.
