Odense Open: How To Watch Day Three Live

The third day of the Odense Open takes place on Thursday, with the last eight players remaining in both draws aiming to make it through to Friday’s semi-finals of the first World Championships qualifying event!

Play will begin from 14:00 (GMT+1) live from Odense with action from the glass court being shown live on SQUASHTV, brought to you by the new Squash TV Lite kit.

Four of the eight matches will see battles between Egyptian and English players, starting with the opening contest of the day, as No.6 seed Salma Eltayeb will do battle with England’s No.2 seed Julianne Courtice. Menna Hamed takes on Kaite Malliff and Malak Khafagy will face off with Anna Kimberley in the other two women’s matches between those countries.

No.6 seed Sam Todd and No.3 seed Yahya Elnawasany will battle it out in the men’s clash of Egypt and England, while another Englishman in Robert Downer, the tournament’s No.8 seed, will play USA’s Faraz Khan in the first meant’s match of the day.

The quarter finals will end with the two top seeds in action. First off will be South Africa’s Alexandra Fuller, who will take on unseeded Spaniard Marta Dominguez Fernandez, before India’s Mahesh Mangaonkar, the men’s top seed, will face Colombia’s Juan Camilo Vargas for a place in the last four on Friday.
