Joe Lee has risen up the rankings steadily since joining the PSA World Tour in 2006.
The London-born Englishman secured his first PSA World Tour title in January 2011 when he bested Karim Ali Fathi in the final of the Le Sport Open in Wales.
Lee claimed his first PSA M15 event win at the Nash Cup in September 2013 and took home the Oregon Open title in February 2014.
Those good results saw him climb into the world’s top 30 for the first time in April 2014 but the early part of 2015 was disappointing for Lee who struggled to make if out of the first round at every event he played at.
However, he almost bounced back in style in October at the Norwegian Open where he made it to the final before narrowly losing to Mohamed Reda.
2016 brought around a number of early round exits for England’s Lee at the start of the year before making it all the way to the final in the Swiss Open in May where he narrowly missed out on the lifting the prize to Denmark’s Kristian Frost over five games.
Lee then backed this up with another final appearance, this time at the Victorian Open when he went onto lift the M10 title after Australia’s Rex Hedrick was forced to retire due to a hamstring injury handing Lee his first PSA World Tour title in over two years.
