India’s Ramit Tandon has been on the PSA World Tour since 2009, and has gone on to become one of the top male players in his country.
His first finals came in 2014, as he finished runner-up to Todd Harrity at the Squash Revolution NY Pro Open, and then to Karim Ali Fathi at the Sportspin Event Malaysian Tour Squash Circuit 6 event. Tandon had to wait another three years before he reached another final, but he was able to grab his first victory on the Tour, securing the SYS Open title. He then won the Singapore Squash Open title soon after.
The Indian has since won twice more since, taking the 2018 Abu Dhabi Open title, before winning the Seattle Open a year later. Tandon’s rapid rise up the rankings saw him break into the top 50 for the first time during the 2018-2019 season.
The Indian finished runner-up at the E.M. Noll Classic, along with quarter-final appearances at the Three Rivers Capital Pittsburgh Open and the Qualico Manitoba Open that year, and has since cut his teeth on the PSA World Tour, with a best finish coming at the Troilus Gold Canada Cup, where he made the last 16.
