Born in 2005, Japan’s Akari Midorikawa is one of the youngest players currently on the Tour, but she already has a victory to her name.
In her first outing on Tour, at the Dynam Cup SQ-Cube Open in 2021, Midorikawa made it to the semi-finals, before then winning her maiden Tour title in her fnext appearance on Tour.
Her first tournament of 2022 was he Aida Sekkei Greetings Squash Championships, and she came through the field to win, beating Kozue Onizawa 3-1 in the final. She then made it to the semi-finals of the Japanese National Championships as well later that year.
