Bermondsey-born Charles Sharpes joined the PSA World Tour in 2009 and captured his maiden crown a year later when he took the First Insurance Squash Open.
Two more titles followed the following year before he won the Open du Gard in January 2012 with a hard-fought victory over Shaun Le Roux.
A three year wait for a title then followed in which Sharpes reached the world's top 100 for the first time and he secured his fifth title at the Kent Open with success over George Parker in the Kent Open at the end of the 2014/15 season.
Sharpes started the 2015/16 campaign strongly and managed two semi-final finishes towards the end of 2015.
Won the Flo.Money Stortford Classic in 2016 when he beat Joel Makin over five games in the final then went onto lose to Makin in the semi-finals of his next tournament at the Kent Open.
England’s Sharpes managed another semi-final appearance, this time at the Cleveland Skating Club Open where he lost to Andrew Schnell.
Sharpes then went onto capture his seventh PSA World Tour title courtesy of a win in straight games over Frenchman Christophe Andre.
The Englishman also broke into the world’s top 50 for the first time at the start of 2017.
