Nick Sachvie joined the PSA World Tour in 2009 but was forced to wait until 2016 for his first PSA World Tour title.
The Canadian’s first semi-final appearance came at the Phoenix Open in 2013 when he lost out to Syed Hamzah Shah Bukhari in straight games. Early round exits then followed throughout the season and next year.
Sachvie’s next semi-final appearance came in the Guilfoyle Financial PSA Classic where he lost out to Daniel Poleshchuk over four games in 2016 before going onto reach the same stage at the Northern Open later on in the year.
The Canadian’s maiden PSA World Tour title came at the Minneapolis Open in 2016 when he beat Juan Camilo Vargas in straight games. Two more titles then followed as he sealed victory over Michael McCue to seal the Tournoi Invitation du Club Sportif MAA and at the Northern Ontario Open in 2017 when he beat Christopher Binnie leading him to break into the world’s top 70 for the first time in his career that same year.
