Addeen Idrakie is one of several Malaysians inside the top 100 in the World Rankings, and he made his debut on Tour in 2009.
2013 was when he first started to find his form on the Tour, with a run of quarter-final results, along with making the semis of the Queensland Open that year as well. He took his first title two years after that, winning on the Malaysian Tour in 2015. That was followed by two more victories before the year had finished.
Following a three year drought, which had seen Idrakie make it to two finals and several other semi-final appearances, he secured his fourth win on Tour, winning the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder Golden Open.
The Malaysian then won twice more in 2019, securing the Pure Blonde Elanora Open and SRAM PSA 2 titles, with those wins coming in a run of seven successive events where he made at least the semi-finals.
He ended 2019 with a semi-final result at the Pacific Toyota Cairns Squash International before playing just once over the course of the next twelve months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Idrakie returned to the Tour in early 2021 with a last four appearance at the SRAM PSA 1.
The Malaysian then made the quarters of the Squash on Fire Open, South State Bank Marietta Open and the T.H. Quinn Cincinnati Queen City Open, before making the semis of the Equinox Boston Open and SRAM PSA 6. Idrakie made the final of the SRAM PSA 7, but lost out to compatriot Ivan Yuen in the final.
