Mahesh Mangaonkar joined the PSA World Tour in 2009 but had to wait for three years before claiming his first title.
It came at the Prague Open at the expense of Lucas Serme in the final and the Indian would go on to claim back-to-back wins over Greg Lobban in the final of the IMET Open and the Open du Gard in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
He helped India to a gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games in October 2014 and claimed victory at the Indian Circuit 2 later that month.
Mangaonkar moved into the world's top 50 for the first time in November 2014 but he struggled to recapture his best form the following year despite a runner-up finish at the NSCI Open in the September.
