Tomotaka Endo has cemented his place in the top 100 of the World Rankings, and as one of Japan’s best players.
Endo joined the PSA in 2010, but only played a few events over his first few years on Tour. It was not until 2018 that the Japanese player took his first victory on the Tour, beating Robert Andrew Garcia in the final of the Q Open.
That win came in a run of four straight events where he made the semi-finals, including at the South Australian Open and the Pacific Toyota Cairns Squash International. His good form continued into 2019, with a string of last four appearances.
Endo made it through to the semis at the SRAM PSA 2, Australian Open and the Tasmanian Open, along with several other runs through to the quarter-finals, including twice on the Tour De Las Americas.
The Japanese took his second title on Tour at the International Squash Classic in 2019, beating David Baillargeon in the final. He then made the final of the Mumbai Leg of the HCL SRFI Indian Tour, along with a semi-final at the Life Time Atlanta Open in his only appearance in 2020.
