Jan van den Herrewegen is the leading Belgian male on the Tour, and has been as high as World No.69.
He made his debut on Tour back in 2012, and after a string of quarter-final and semi-final appearances over his first few years as a professional, van den Herrewegen made his first final in 2015, at the BDO Northfield Cup.
The Belgian took his first victory a few months later, as he defeated Chris Fuller to win the Sutton Coldfield International. It would be an event that was kind to him over the years, as he won there four times in a five-year period, taking the spoils in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019.
Prior to his 2017 victory, he also claimed the PSA Valencia Open title, before a pair of runner-up finishes came at the Savcor Finnish Open and the TRAC Oil & Gas North of Scotland Open in 2018.
Van den Herrewegen won both the Select Gaming Colin Payne Kent Open and the Czech Open in 2019, along with securing his fourth crown at the Sutton Coldfield International, before the Belgian won an eighth professional title a year later, victorious at the Odense Open.
