Chris Hanson has made rapid strides up the World Rankings in recent years since making his PSA World Tour debut in 2010.
His first title came at the Kiva Club Open in September 2015 and he moved into the world’s top 80 for the first time three months later.
The American then finished runner-up at the Life Time Atlanta Open and reached the semi-finals of the Qualico Manitoba Open in back-to-back events in 2016. He also reached the last four of the Tree Brewing Kelowna Open that year as well.
A second PSA Tour title came in 2017, as Gordon won the Boston Open, and that was followed with three more victories a year later. He secured the Vogue Optical Atlantic Squash Championships, CAC Squash Open and Securian Open crowns. He then went on to reach the last four of the E.M. Noll Classic in 2019 as well.
