Syed Azlan Amjad has cemented himself as the Qatari No.2 in recent years, thanks to winning his first two titles on Tour.
Amjad joined the Tour in 2012, but had to wait four years before he reached the quarter-finals of an event, doing so a the Iran Squash Federation Kish Persian Gulf and the City of Greater Shepparton International in 2016.
He reached the semis of the Malaysian Squash Tour II in 2018, along with a string of quarter-final appearances, before finally grabbing his first victory on Tour two years later, on home soil at the QSF 3 Open, and with it, he broke into the top 100 for the first time in his career.
Amjad then took a second victory in quick succession, winning again on home soil, at the QSF 4, as he then moved inside the top 70 in the rankings.
