Spain’s Bernat Jaume joined the Tour in 2013, and has gone to achieve success over the past few years.
The Spaniard had to wait two years before he reached a final for the first time as a professional, with that coming at the IMET Open in 2015, where he lost out to Chris Fuller. A second final followed a year later, at the Amir Kabir Open, along with a string of last eight and last four appearances.
His first victory on Tour came in 2017, following a run of form which had seen him make the semi-finals of five of his last eight events, including the final of the City of Greater Shepparton International. The win came at the Romanian Open, where he defeated Aqeel Rehman to take the title.
A second win would follow in quick succession, with the Spaniard victorious at the Israel Herzaliya Open in 2018. He then had five runners-up finishes over the next 18 months, before claiming a third title, at the Capra Baerum Open.
He featured just twice on tour in 2020, mainly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but secured his fourth win on Tour, as he defeated Iker Pajares Bernabeu to win the Costa Del Sol Open. He started 2021 with a last eight result at the PSA Challenger 10 Le Reve Nancy.
Jaume then claimed another victory on Tour, as he defeated India’s Mahesh Mangaonkar in the final of the Bremer Schlussel. That was followed later in the year by another appearance in a final, at the Capra Baerum Open, and a quarter final result at the Czech Open.
