Farkas Balazs is the leading Hungarian player on the Tour, and he broke into the top 100 in the World Rankings in 2020.
Balazs made his first final in just his fifth event on as a professional, at the IMET Open in 2016. A couple of years later, and he claimed his first three titles, winning back-to-back-to-back events.
The Hungarian claimed the Airport Squash & Fitness - Airport Xmas Challenger, after beating Carlos Cornes Ribadas in the final, to clinch a first title on Tour. He then followed that with victories at the IMET PSA Open and the Falcon Squash Cup Open.
Four runner-up finishes came through 2019, at the Subbotnik Open, White Nights Open, Capra Baerum Open and the Cognac Open, along with another title. He won the Romanian Open, before clinching the Austrian Open title in 2020 as well, his fifth success on Tour.
