Coline Aumard is one of the top French females in the PSA World Tour and has been prolific in recent years.
Aumard joined the Tour in 2007 but faced a six year wait for her first title. It came at the NT Open in May 2013 and was immediately followed by a second title a week later. 2014 was a successful year for the Frenchwoman as she lifted three Tour titles, including two in her native France.
She reached the quarter-final stage at the Sharm El Sheikh International Championship in May 2015 as her season drew to a close. The next season, Aumard went onto seal the Malaysian Tour Squash VII title when she beat Rachel Arnold over four games in the final. The Frenchwoman then broke into the world’s top 30 for the first time in 2016.
Aumard reached her first quarter final in over a year at the 2017 Texas Open, before reaching the same stage at the Open International de Squash de Nantes. She reached the semi finals of the Wasatch Advisors Salt Lake City Open and the Tournament of Pyramides in 2018, as well as a quarter final appearance at the HKFC International.
The Frenchwoman made the last 16 of both the Oracle Netsuite Open and the Cleveland Classic, before reaching the final of the Annecy Rose Open, where she lost out to Milou van der Heijden in the final.
The French No.2 reached the last 16 on home soil at the Open de France - Nantes, before consistently making it into the second round of the major tournaments, including the PSA Women’s World Championship. Aumard broke through to the quarter-finals of a Platinum event for the first time in her career in the final event before the COVID-19 enforced suspension of the Tour, doing so at the Black Ball Women’s Open. That performance saw her move into the top 20 in the World Rankings for the first time in her career.
Aumard reached the last 16 of the Manchester Open in her first event after the suspension, and then made the quarter finals of the same tournament in 2021, along with a string of second round results in the majors. She ended the year with a last 16 result at the CIB Squash Open Black Ball.
