Alicia Mead is one of several Englishwomen inside the top 100 of the World Rankings, and made her debut on the Tour in 2011.
She only featured in a couple of events, before returning to the Tour in 2015, but it took her another three years before she made the main draw of an event. That came at the Edinburgh Sports Club Open, where she reached the last 16.
The Englishwoman reached her first quarter-final later that year, doing so at the Sekisui Open, before making it to the same stage of the Rhode Island Open. She also made the last eight of the Cronimet Swedish Squash Open in the early part of 2019.
Mead made her first semi-final as a professional at the Copa Produbanco - PSA Quito-Arrayanes Squash Open later that year, and also recorded starter-final results at the Seattle Open and the Racquet Club Pro-Series in 2020.
