Player Info

Nicolas Mueller is the only Swiss player to have broken into the top twenty in the world rankings, achieving the feat in 2012. Since joining the PSA in 2005, Mueller has gone on to establish himself as Switzerland’s greatest player. He won his first PSA World Tour title at the Russian Opportunities Fund Championships in 2008. 2011 was a good year for Mueller and the Swiss star had a number of high finishes in high-profile events, including a semi-final place at the Rocky Mountain Open in March and a quarter-final finish at a PSA World Series event, the Qatar Classic, which saw him awarded with the 2011 PSA Young Player of the Year. April 2013 saw him win his seventh successive Swiss National Championship title to reaffirm his status as Switzerland’s greatest player. Mueller captured his first PSA World Tour title in over four years in February 2014 when he defeated local-hero Olli Tuominen at the Finnish Open with a superb 3-1 victory.
